Blend Station Condesa

Blend Station Condesa

A work friendly Coffee spot

If you’re on the hunt for a laid-back coffee shop in Condesa, where you can work and sip a high quality drink, Blend Station –located in Tamaulipas 60– might just become your go-to spot. It’s not flashy nor fancy, but it nails all the essentials and creates a welcoming space designed with remote workers in mind.

The Blend Station in Condesa has a spacious, triple-height room with a tree planted right in the middle, giving the place a natural and calming vibe. The space is clearly built for those who like to work in coffee shops, with plenty of seating options: three large shared tables, six smaller tables for two, a cozy love seat with a small table, a bar along the serving counter, stadium-style bench seating, and outdoor tables for fresh air. Despite all these choices, the place is usually packed, so you might not always find your preferred spot open and be flexible about where you sit.

The music is soft enough to stay focused but loud enough to mask nearby conversations. It’s the kind of place that encourages productivity without feeling too sterile.

On the menu, you’ll find your classic coffee drinks: espresso, cortado, latte, and cappuccino, but I love their chocolate-based drinks made with cacao from Tabasco, Mexico. In particular I often order their mocha, made with 70% washed cocoa –or try the 100% cacao option for an intense, sugar-free cocoa experience. Their food menu doesn’t disappoint. The Açaí Bowl is like a frozen açaí smoothie topped with fruit and granola. I find it to pair nicely with their mocha. They also have other breakfast and lunch items like avocado toast, eggs, chilaquiles, and other similar items.

One of the things I applaud and appreciate of this place is that they serve the drinks in ceramic cups unless you specify otherwise, helping cut down on all those single use cups that so many other coffee shops serve us on by default.

Besides the Condesa location, they have three other ones: Polanco, Hipódromo, and Roma Norte. Each location has its own vibe

TL;DR Station shines as a work-friendly coffee spot or a chill meet-up over excellent coffee and chocolate drinks, as well as tasty bites. Down-to-earth, unpretentious, and practical, it’s the perfect neighborhood spot for those who value substance over flash. Just remember: seating fills up fast, so plan accordingly!
